Thomas Halliwell began as a mechanical and electrical contractor. Today we lead with MER (mechanical, electrical and renewables), delivering complex building services from our base in Royton, Greater Manchester.
Our story
Specialists in the projects others find difficult.
From the NHS and the Home Office to KP Snacks and Skoda, from Airbus to the UK Space Agency, clients trust us with work that has to be right first time.
We have always been specialists in M&E design and building services. We also saw early that renewables would matter, and we have been at the forefront of solar and wind as the industry has grown.
Because we understand mechanical and electrical systems in depth, we can integrate renewable technology with existing infrastructure in ways a single-trade installer can't. That's why MER (mechanical, electrical and renewable) is now our core offer.
We work as turnkey contractor, as principal contractor on complex jobs overseas, and as trusted M&E partner to some of the UK's leading main contractors.
