With Solar Choice UK, we installed commercial solar PV at Yearsley Group's cold-storage facilities in Chesterfield and Heywood.
Cold storage never switches off, so we worked around the client's production schedule, including weekends and planned shutdowns, to commission each system. Each site took six weeks, from tray containment and distribution boards to AC/DC isolation, with some of the work carried out in confined spaces.
The installations cut emissions and improved energy efficiency at both sites.
